Art and Oysters Fundraiser

Following our commitment to community engagement highlighted at the Mediation Center fundraiser, we’re excited to announce the Art and Oysters fundraiser on March 27, 2025. Hosted by the Coastal Heritage Society in collaboration with the Pin Point Heritage Museum, this coastal-themed evening runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the beautiful Moon River marsh. We’ll enjoy local artwork, Gullah-Geechee culture, and have a chance to meet talented artists during a silent auction. This event features original artwork presented by local artists. TEDxSavannah 2025

As we celebrate the success of events like the SSU Scholarship Gala, let's turn our attention to another exciting opportunity for connection and inspiration in our community: TEDxSavannah 2025. Scheduled for Friday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fine Arts Auditorium, this immersive half-day event invites us to explore the theme Curiosity Released. With 12-minute talks by local thought leaders, live music, and refreshments, it’s a perfect environment for lifelong learners. Early bird tickets are available on Eventbrite, and we should act quickly, as they often sell out. We’ll target litter removal and beautification projects across our city. By registering by April 4, we can reserve our free litter kits, gloves, and safety vests. Plus, there’s a kickoff event on March 29 in Liberty City to get us started! Together, let’s create designated cleanup zones, ensuring everyone's safety while we enhance our environment. This year, the city is celebrating the 25th annual Earth Day Savannah event on April 25, which emphasizes the importance of environmental initiatives.
