Best things to do in Savannah. Another must-see on any trip to Savannah, Georgia, is a visit to the iconic Forsyth Park. The 30-acre park is a gathering place for visitors and locals. There are two playgrounds in Forsyth Park, plus large open fields for your children to let off some steam.

I had read on the Internet that a visit to The Paris Market, a boutique and coffee shop on Broughton Street, was a must in Savannah. But I was skeptical (not being a shopper) that any store would be so interesting. Well, it turns out that the Paris market looks more like a magnificent museum than a store. The screens are a pleasure for the senses and simply strolling through the two levels is a fascinating experience.

I think children aged seven and over would love to visit the Paris market and enjoy this one-of-a-kind store. We wanted to rent a two-seater e-bike at Savannah on Wheels (located right next to Forsyth Park), but the bike wasn't available the day we were there. I definitely suggest making a reservation in advance if you want to rent a special bike. My daughter loved her children's food and overall, we had a great time at this Savannah institution.
